I love homemade potato salad, but you need to cook your potatoes a little longer. Honestly, they are too hard. Easy give away! They almost tasted like they haven't been cooked at all. I grew up on homemade potato salad and love it til this day especially at family picnics! My mother and grandmother would make 5-10 lb of homemade fresh potato salad. So delicious! So refreshing in the summer months. I hope you consider my request. I have bought yours a few times but really didn't enjoy it because I could tell the potatoes were not cooked long enough. Maybe your staff making it doesn't realize this problem because they don't test it out when making it?? Please please ask your staff to cook/boil the potatoes a little longer. We found all sorts of yummy treats and fresh bread, as well as Birch Beer, which tastes like a mixture of Dr. Pepper and Rootbeer. We bought cookies, pie, and their well known whoopie pie.

Yoder’s Fresh Market is such a charming place and an experience in itself. The moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming—like a throwback to a time when everything was made from scratch with love and care. The market was spotless and beautifully arranged, with shelves full of fresh fruits, homemade goods, and unique items you just don’t find in a regular grocery store. What really stood out was the selection of desserts and prepared foods. The pies alone are worth the visit—beautifully made and hard to resist. There were flavors like peanut butter cream, butterscotch, strawberry, coconut, and more, each looking like it could be the best dessert you’ve ever had. You could literally taste the freshness just by the way they looked. The hot food section smelled amazing with options like fried chicken, grilled garlic chicken, homestyle mashed potatoes, and classic sides that made your mouth water just walking by. Everything looked hearty, fresh, and homemade. Whether you’re craving comfort food or sweet treats, Yoder’s Fresh Market is definitely a place you’ll want to come back to again and again.

Yoder’s Fresh Market is always a pleasant market to visit. The variety of all the Amish foods is spectacular!! It is a very inviting place fully stocked from fresh produce, baked goods, refrigerated food, jams, juices and just about everything Amish. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well. The outside has nice murals painted on the garage doors with beautiful flowers outside in planters. I’ve been here before and I’m always looking forward to stopping by when I’m in the area.

Excellent Pennsylvania Dutch food including jams/jelly, pies and other deserts, breads, soups and excellent prepared foods such as beef stroganoff and meatloaf and potatoes, cold cuts and much more. Open every day except Sunday and there is perking. Friendly and helpful staff.
